Howard
Can I ask why you are asking this? I had a problem a few years back with a standard rear spring that was the correct length when off the car, but when back on the vehicle sat much too low. TRad
Sure. Have uprated suspension all round and lowered rear trailing arms. I find the lowered 200lb springs a little harsh for my taste. Second hand standard road springs I've used have been a good compromise. The new ones I've problems with are brand new standard supposedly but I'm wondering if rimmers got them mixed up?
Beans
Not the first time to happen at Rimmer's ...The rear springs on the car above are 1" lowered springs supplied by Rimmer's many moons ago ...This is how 1" lowered rear spings should looked ... Pete TR7
Echoes my experience, I went back to to the standard springs, ride height was lower and more comfortable. Fitting KYB shocks made the difference.
