gfiandy
hi,I have just replaced springs and dampers on the front of my spit with a replacement kit from James Padock. Once they were back in the car I noticed that one side of the car is higher than the other by aboub 3 cm.I disconnected the roll bar just to make sure it wasn't that but it made no difference.I measured the springs in the car and one is about 1.5 cm longer than the other. Both springs were labeled 148 which I assumed was the rate. The springs are not in exactly the same rotational position, could this cause the problemIs there anything else that coul affect the length of the springs.Could they be faulty?Any help great fully received.Regards,Andy
performancebible
Your springs are not matched. They must be the same length or your car will be 3cm lop-sided. Best to send them back.
