Spitfire hubs in rotoflex vertical links

I was wondering if you could fit Spitfire hubs into rotoflex rear vertical links.

I've planning on running an alloy rotoflex CV-conversion rear suspension in my spitfire project, which is more than a little pricey. I was wondering if I could save some money by using the Spitfire hubs I've already got and not having to buy new ones.

Also, I was wondering if you could use Spitfire rear drums with them as well. I know it sounds counter-intuitive going with smaller drums on a faster car, but the rears don't do all that much braking on a car the weight of a Spitfire and I'll have a saving in unsprung weight. Plus, I could use some of the money (hopefully) saved and buy some shiny alfin drums from Canleys :)

Totally different.

What CV conversion? MGF hubs work with Nicks kit. And I think you can use spit backplates and drums, but unsure of spacings etc etc.

Somebody used the front uprights from a metro for their CV conversion, and (IIRC) spit backplates/drums. Bit of DIY, but cheap I suspect.

Drat :S it's a Canley's CV kit so Triumph bearings. Using Spit drums would certainly help though.
