Rich_s Posted April 26, 2011 Share Posted April 26, 2011 Hi All,My std radiator on my spitfire has sprung a leak at the top edge when it joins the side mountings, top left near the top hose.I have looked at getting a new full width rad but as well as being pricey, £125 best price, if i fit one then i need to figure out how to refit the air horns and kenlowe controls as they all mount to the current bits of metal that stick out eacj side of the std rad.So my question is, does anyone have and old std width rad in good working order for sale, or know where i can get one as would like to stick with the std rad if i can as it has no overheating problems.Ideally i could do with a rad with a split core, i could get a radiator rebuilder to make a good one out of 2 duff ones, but as i have access to neither, the easiest thing i think is to get a 2nd hand std width if anyone has one.BTW i am in the midlands and need one soon ish as it seems to be leaking more each time i use it :(thanks in advancerich Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
