Crankshaft pulley

Hi Just a quickie question i hope someone will be able to answer.

I have a GE prefix engine in my 13/60 herald. The crankshaft pulley seems to have a chunk out of it on the outer circumference. I have a spare GD prefix engine with a good pulley. So my question is are the crankshaft pulleys swappable between the two engines?

Actually very glad the original pulley was damaged. As after removing it i found eccentric wear where the timing cover oil seal contacts the pulley.  8)

Now to fit a 36-1 trigger wheel to the rear of the good one.

Does anyone know where i can get a pulley balanced? Somewhere in hampshire would be good.

The 2 engines 13/60 & 12/50 i have here certainly don't have harmonic damping built into the crank pulleys. Maybe they are only fitted to the 6 cylinder?

Good point!

You still need to get the whole rotating assembly bal;ance as a whole I think.

Does anyone know exactly how they do it??

Cheers
