Identifying a mk3 camshaft question?

A camshaft that I am looking at has the following numbers on. Do these identify it in any way?

88312188 this is the only number I can see appart from casting looks like 1 9 C 9

which is right for a 1500 Spitty.

edited cos just seen you want large journal :P


Just so I understand....
This cam is a standard 1500 then and not a 1500 with mk3 profile?

Maybe, Maybe not!

as Nick said it really just depends on whether it has been re-profiled or not ? it should have some other marking possibly stamped on to it if it's been modified (maybe on the non-drive end)
Did you have reason to think it was a Mk3 Spit profile?
