TedTaylor Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 Hi NicIs that Hylomar or similar blue gasket sealant that I can see at the float chamber carb body joint, or is it a blue coloured gasket? If it is sealant is this where the leak is? The correct procedure is to use a new gasket without any sealant. It is possible to recycle an old gasket but look out for leaks which indicates that you DO need a new gasket.Ted Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
