Spitfire manifold gasket

Where can I get a quality manifold gasket for my Spitfire?
The one I took off seems good, it's metal on both sides & sealed fine, the new one I got from Moss is cardboard with one side coloured silver & doesn't even fit!
I rang Canleys but from the description their gasket sounds the same & my local motor factor can't help.

Is the one you took off good enough to re-use? That may be a daft question but if it came off intact then it might be possible to clean up and re-use.....

Good point, I automatically thought I should replace it!
Still like to know where to get new ones from.

No sooner do I post this, I find there's a Unipart just up the road from work, one phone call & they got me a Payen in a couple of hours  :)
