heralddolly Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Hello Folks.A strange request !!!!Has anybody got a GOOD USED Vitesse Mk2 manifold to cylinder head gasket, which has got a very decent imprint of the flanges on it ??It's in connection with the Vitesse Extractor Manifold thread.I've not had much luck on the Vitesse pages so am hoping a GT6 owner with a compatible gasket may be able to help ??I'm happy to give you something for it, as it will NOT be in a functional state once some work has been done with it.If anybody has got one please can they let me know on the thread or PM me.I'm ideally looking to secure one within the next few days.Many thanks, as always.Richard.
Nick Jones Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I'll look, but I don't think so. I think I did the same with mine as you're planning to do - chopped up as flange templates. I've still got the flanges I made but wouldn't guarantee the accuracy for copying. Mk2 2000 and 2.5 are the same btw. The genuine multilayer ones give the best imprints - the others tend to drop to bits.Nick
