Will a Auto 2.900cc 24v cosworth engine fit in a

Rover and Stag V8s have been put in to Dollies as has a Triumph straight 6 (looked factory, really at home!). If a 27 litre Meteor tank engine can "fit" in a Rover SD1 then like I said, anything will fit anywhere! The limitation is the size of your hammer and the list of compromises you are prepared to make :-)

Width across the heads is your main problem here. How wide is it across the heads (ive got no idea, its a Ford engine!). If its wider than a Rover then your gonna struggle.

Failing that, space frame the front and you will have all the room you need.

The Ford Cosworth V6 24v is a VERY wide engine (at the top across the heads), its very prone to snapping timing chains, is expensive to fix and would be a total nightmare to wire up. Electronic EFI, lecci Igntion, plus all the sensors and gearbox electronics for which you would need all of the controlling gear which is built into the car/loom/trim/engine.

Major, major job matey. All this for 200bhp....................I used to have one, great car but not a transplant job!

There are easier and better choices.......... with more power!!!
