WIMPUS Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Hi !Before i got my spitfire on the road i had seen an ebay link of a guy that refurb the inlet manifold and put in a ne Stainless Steel water pipe..The one on my spitfire didn't leak, but was still rusty.. Sanded them off and painted them.And they seem to still hold.But i've got a spare one on my spare Dolomite 1500 engine, but it also very rusty :-/So does someone know the guy from ebay ? I think it was a fair price back then (2 years ago).Also looked at paddocks, at the same time they sold inlet manifolds that also had a refurb, but seems now not anymore..The plan is to get the refurbed one on my spitfire. Waterpipe to the waterpump is already a SS one because the old one had a few holes, on the spare dolly block i can peel the pipe open with my fingers :o Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
