Dave1984
Hi I am new to owning a triumph and own a spitfire mkiv. Is a bit of a project as isn't in brilliant condition and am trying to do most of the repairs myself. Have a problem I am a little bit stumped on but have heard (rightly or wrongly not sure) it's quite easy to do but I can see the part I need on canleys moss or rimmer brothers or a decent description on how to do it if I bought the whole handle assembly but my exterior handles don't work have taken the door panel off and there is no linkage from the handle to any of the door mechanism. Any advice would be gladly welcome. Cheers for the help in advance Dave
Richard B
I think its the little lever at the rear of 915633 & 915634The earlier cars Spitfire MkI-III have a bolt that pushes a lever on the mechanism.Spitfire Graveyard may be able to supply some S/H parts
Alex
Are you sure they're not locking themselves each time you close the door?
