Considering the vehicle looks right, is well balanced and is well finished, it deseves far more than your food recycling comment Mr Chatterton. (naughty)Remember, some like their cars brown even! I was told that it wasn't a simple weld-up-the-rear-doors proposition, the front doors had been lengthened to keep the proportions right.Really Alan, it looked very well done! Look carefully at the car and you will notice it is not just a case of welding up the back doors and fit one piece windows, that would be a simple bolt together job.The remaining doors have been lengthedned and the B post skillfully moved back by a number of inches. A very well balanced and executed piece of enginering in my opinion, that shows what a wealth of expertise nestles in garages and sheds around the world.Believe me, I have looked into the costs this afternoon of bringing this car to the UK, If I had the cash that customs and excise would want on top of the shipping I would have bid on the car by now and it would be appearing on a 2000 Register show stand once I had it.I think it looks superb and shows what else BL could have done with the 2000 shell and a TV8, an Audi S5 40 years ago if you like.Colin. This was a proto-type that nearly was converted to a convertible during construction.
