The description seems about right but its a bit ambiguous because there are 3 different plastic linkages all involved in releasing the latch:<a href="http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/rimmer/triumph/gt6/body#Door Lock & Handles (Mk3)">http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/rimmer/triumph/gt6/body#Door Lock & Handles (Mk3)</a> Part number 819808 "Latch release" control rod. Ordered 2 from Paddocks where they were strangely a lot more expensive than from Canleys (usually other way around).
