JRidout
Dear All,Purchased a couple of door skins for my Mark 1 today, stripped old door skin off, blasted the frames and primed them. Now when I offered up the new skins I notice that they hav'nt just slotted in over the frames, they are slighly less bent then the old skins? So do I start at the top and then clamp down to the bottom bending as | go , or should I start at the bottom and work the other way?regardsJR
JensH
Start at the top. And take 4-5-6-7 turns with a dolly and a hammer 8)
Scottie55
Correct to start from the top. Remember to make sure the top gap for the glass is correct and even. Really important you check this. As you fold the edges over, the skin will pull into the chassis shape.
