Docman
What's the procedure for removing door panels from GT6 MK3?
Hugh
If you want to keep the door cards to reuse I would have a look on the internet auction sites that are around there you will find a tool for removing the door card retaining clips. The door cards are quite easy to damage where the clips fit to the cards you could try putting a couple of thin wall scrapers ethier side of the clip and slowly prise the card off.Good Luck ;)
Docman
How do the window cranks come off? My door cards are pretty lumpy and wavy with orange cordory - Im not sure if they are worth recovering since new ones are available and probably not more expensive than recovering the old ones.If the cards are acceptable I would like to cover in leather. herald948
Grasp and push hard on the plastic escutcheon behind the window crank, and you should see a hole in the shank of the handle. In that hole is a pin you need to push through, after which the handle comes right off the shaft. It's a bit hard to see, but the pin is part number 600632 in this diagram (from Canleys):http://www.canleyclassics.com/?xhtml=xhtml/diagram/gt6mkiiidoorsealandtrimpads.html&xhtmlcatalogue=xhtml/catalogue/gt6mkiii.html&category=bodyandfittings&xsl=diagram.xsl
