TedTaylor
I am having a clearout and have come across one of those hinged rear windows from a Triumph Roadster from my old auto jumbling days. It is the thing that was used on the boot to provide a windscreen for the 'dicky' seats that were fitted there. It has no glass or trim but the metal is in good condition. It is free to whoever wants it. if no interest by next weekend it is going in the bin - been trying to get rid of it for 15 years! Collection only but I should be able to deliver to Stoneleigh.Ted
roadsternut
Hello Ted. If you are to bin it I would take it off your hands, I have a roadster under going restoration and my window is fine but someone might use it within the club. TedTaylor
That's fine how do you want to collect. I am in the Forest of DeanI must admit to making sure that where possible I try to rescue 2000/2500/2.5PI spares - especially the more difficult to source ones.Ted
roadsternut
Hello Ted. sorry for the delay I have been busy, you mention you can deliver to Stonleigh, will that mean you are going in March I think if so I can arrange something. best regards steve
TedTaylor
Yep that's OK. We are hoping for a stand (with Triumphs and other cars) to promote WCR40 and I hope to bring one of my World Cup Land Crabs ...... and the PI as a extra capacity/service car/and it is a Triumph show (though it will have to park outside unless the organisers are very nice ........).Ted
roadsternut
Hello Ted. Can you give me your contact number to arrange a meet at stonleigh. Steve
TedTaylor
Hi SteveI'll be on the WCR40 stand (it will be next to the Register stand). Can't miss it because it will have Pat Walkers PI and Ken Green's Land Crab - both World Cup cars. If I am not there I will be around the show trying to sell trade space or adverts for the Souvenir Programme (its going to be something very special), or chase up other clubs to see if they want a space. I will leave the window for you and let the others know if I am not there. If all else fails ring my mobile 07711 824846Ted
