G8HSV Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Just removed the glass and quarter light from the passenger door...see picture. Should the part where the quarter rests be welded both sides or is this just like a 'shelf' to rest the quarter rests on? The part is fixed th the inner panel only. The rear wing has a small crease damage which must have extended to the door and this has probably been reskinned years ago and maybe not attached fully. Reading further on this....there is no mention of this in the restoration manual...BUT it does show this in the GT6 section (sprifire having no quarters).
