t31ryt Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Hi Guys and Gals...I have just managed to get hold of a good MK3 that doesnt need much work as all the floors boot sills etc have been done :DThe trouble is the drivers door is beyond repair im struggling to find a Mk3 door so was wondering if a MK4 would fit.Also I need to know if the back panel (the one between the roof and the boot should have a groove for the hardtop or should be totally flat?? I also have a pair of doors from my MK2 that i'm not using. One is quite good one is quite bad PM me if interestedTimPS the mk4 door is the same enough to line up the bodywork!! Clive Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 A friend had to get a MKIV door and have it reskinned for his early spitfire. It was an insurance job, but he sourced the parts.
