Anthony
I've got my reskinned doors fitted, and am about to start working on my panel gapsIf I fit the B-post striker and the lock mechanism to the door and close them, can I reopen them again with ease without refitting the rest of the door lock mechanism?I'm just trying to get everything lined up, and don't want to have to rebuild the door to do soThe door is a bare skin and shell at present
drofgum
ant-8u, If you check the latch before you install it in the door you will find the lever that must move to unlatch it. This lets you know what you must do to open the door when you wish to. You may find that it takes a bit more force to open the door on the car than merely to release the latch; if so pushing in on the door will relieve the tension on the latch and make it easier to release. Cheers, Paul
