swoakes
I have a 1975 1296 toledo. The main beam on one of the headlights does not function. Are the headlights sealed beam or bulbs? Manual seems a bit vague on the subject but they look like bulbs to me. Thanks Steve
Toledo Man
My 1974 Toledo had sealed beams and my Dolomite 1300 had replacable bulbs. The only way to find out is to remove the headlight. Remove the grille and then remove the retainer. Disconnect the multiplug and then you'll know if it is the sealed beam or replacable bulb type. Some sealed beam units do say "sealed beam" on them. Removing the unit is the only way to be 100% certain.
DaveKent
if you look through the glass you will see a bulb if it is replaceable, or just the filaments with no bulb around them if it is a sealed beam unit
