SKOOBY6
I think this is a problem with the earth and i dont have time to dig around looking for it. Does anyone know where it is so i can go straight in and sort it?
Ballykine43
If the problem is the earth running a temporary one from one of the lights will both confirm your diagnosis and give you headlights till you can sort them properly. Use a hefty piece of wire as you will be carrying current from all four lamp units.Brian
cbv8
Since i ripped repaired and replaced some burnt wiring behind the dash on my Stag i now have just the opp ie h.lights but no side lights any ideas lads/lasses ;)
Ballykine43
CVB8 Each side of the car is fused separately for sidelights. The fuses have a switched supply through the main light switch.Power is obviously getting to it if your headlights are operating. You need to check supply from the light switch to the fuses. If Mk 1 you have two cables to check, a red and a red green. Mk2 has one red cable which is looped across the two fuses. One fuse is labelled Parking lights,(drivers side) the other Side and Tail.Skooby - Did you resolve your problem?Brian
SKOOBY6
No, no luck at all im afraid im really confused. I can't find the earth which i think is causing me more concern where is it normally for the lights?
Lord Sorbington
I'd be very suspicious of the light switch itself.
