EddieGT
Hi,My tandem master keeps faling after rebuild, replacing rubbers, etc etc.I have bad experienced with rebuilding brake cylinders, so i would like to replace the whole unit.Where can i find a new one?I dont see any on ebay or rimmer, allthough i see a similor one for a tr6. Is there any difference? Perhaps different bore?Cheers Edwin

rotoflex
Spitbits in the US has them for $199http://www.spitbits.com/store/Master-Cylinder-C369.aspxWhen you get a new one, hang on to the old one. Then when you need another new one, just have the old one re-sleeved.

MikeTeesside
I can't help, but this is a very interesting read. I had no idea they had this option.
rotoflex
I think it was because US federal regulations required separate braking systems, so the tandem system was offered as an option on the home market cars.
Martin M
I just took the early Spitfire Tandem one for the GT6 as the GT6 Tandem one was not available. It was originally a UK car with single master, so I changed the front 4 way union to a 3 way union and installed a separarte brake line to the rearWith Mintex 1144 pads it works very well.Martin
