rotoflex Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Could someone nearby do a favor for me & contact Andrew Turner carbs to see if he's got a part I need?He doesn't have an email address listed on his website.I am looking for the original-type folded spring-steel couplings between the throttle shafts of the Stromberg CDSE 150 carbs fitted to the GT6 Mk3.Replacement couplings available here are different, & cause a misalignment of the accelerator control. The original couplings are about 1" long, but all replacements I can find are about 3/4" long.If anyone can discover if Mr. Turner has 2 available & how much he'd like for them shipped to the US, or knows of another source, I'd appreciate the information!
Greeks Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 you could PM him through this site :-) His username is something like aturner or something... might have his email address through his profile, too.

a turner carbs Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Hi Everyone, I have answered Rotoflex through ebay. I do enjoy this forum but because my typing is so slow I rarely answer questions. My email address is roodall12@aol.comFor those who are interested we can often supply obsolete parts and we carry these flexible couplings in stock. I would say however that in this instance the replacement su part is of a better more rigid design and I guess that is why it is the usual part supplied.
