Door Latch Broken

Hi Guys,

when trying to open the passenger door on my Spit I realised that the door latch mechanism is broken. the door is unlocked and when I pull on the handle (inside and outside) nothing happens. does anyone know how I can open the door?

Take the door card off.

The door card is off and it doesn't open with the little leaver that the rod connects to

There is a flat spring c clip that a split pin is inserted into, this clip has a habit of sliding down the split pin and can cause the handle not to work. Slid the c clip up the up the pin. I normally us the insert of a electrical connector block on the pin to hold the clip in place.
