What LR part number is it? PRC2911G I will measure the lenght for you. Got a spare one. I needed to solder wires on to it due to hitting the tunnel slightly. 1 Quote

If so can you provide me with his details? I ordered from Betaset. Sadly seems no seals for the TR7 water pump 😞 Quote
Tim Bancroft Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Water Pumps: Canleys sell a different make of pump to that sold by others, these seem to have some longevity!!!! 1 Quote

I've now gone trunnionless. Why do they seem to break on the passenger side if right or left hand drive. Danny Danny Did yours break whilst on the C2C? If so, we were guys in the white saloon following right behind you when the incident occurred. Bruce Quote

It was with some degree of relief that we saw you both bail out of the car and stare at the nearside wheel! Subsequently both Simon (my co driver on that C2C) and I have ordered trunnionless kits for our Spit and GT6's. But 5 months later we are still waiting for Canley to get some in stock. They are having supplier difficulties Bruce Quote

That was a hit on the bank account, just needed it back on the road. Danny Quote

On the TR7 LT77 gear box there is a lock nut that is used to adjust the position of the switch. This nut is visible in the picture I posted a few days ago. So no need for shims if you can find the correct nut. In stock with Rimmer's so should be easy to source; https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-22A1613 Edited January 8 by Beans 1 Quote
WIMPUS Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 Snow ! It will be an interesting morning drive to work tomorrow... 3 Quote
WIMPUS Posted January 16 Author Posted January 16 Day after my last post... The next few days it was freezing, foggy etc only needed to get the mixture 1 flat more rich, now turned back as its above freezing. Needed to also get my boss to a garage to pick up a new EV for poolcar for work. He also was surprised it wasnt rock hard suspension wise, but pretty comfy (everyone says that). Then just after the snow and yesterday again washed the road salt of the inner wheelarches and underside bootfloor, floor, outriggers etc etc 2 Quote
WIMPUS Posted Tuesday at 17:42 Author Posted Tuesday at 17:42 Since november i had problems with starting Fox up sometimes. It was a strange one.. Let her stand for 24hour or more, fires straight up. Let her stand for 2 hours, also fires straight up. But.. 6 to 8 hours, 60/70% of the time starter would turn, then stop like it was stuck. Mosty 2nd try it fired up. Strangly... when it snowed and froze, she started up as usual... First thing i did, changed the starter to spare one. Just the same. Then changed the battery to a good one from work as a test, still the same. So bought new 25mm² cables, instead of 16mm². Saturday I made them and installed them. For now she starts up very well. 2 Quote
