cye Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Hi all where is the best place to buy door 1/4 light seals from. Or who make them.Ones that fit and do the job.Cheers.
pimp my vit Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 All the usual suspects have them Rimmer/Canley/Rarebits its just the price that puts you off!!!http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-910428__9
pimp my vit Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 I would also recommend Bill @ Rarebits, he is very knowledgeable and supporter of the Triumph range, he is also active and helpful on this site.
boxcorsair Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Cye... let us know the outcome... I patched up a passenger side 1/4 light seal due to the price from the larger suppliers; if they turned out to be similar quality to replacement door seals then I couldn't warrant it. Never spoken to Bill but was reading good things about his seals on another thread about the correct boot seal profile...good luck
cye Posted August 24, 2011 Author Posted August 24, 2011 Hi all had a look on the internet. all the traders mentioned prices vary between £50 and £60. But James paddock sell them for £45 a pair, whats the difference if they are made by the same people or are they??I dont mind paying as its birthday money,But i only want to fit them once and last as long like the originals. Only replacing because restoring the doors. cye
