Paudman Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Following on from my last post on the subject I've changed the glass runner from a convertible passenger side to a saloon driver's side, thinking this would cure the problem, but it still persists - the glass will not go all the way down into the door but stops with about three inches above the door frame. I had assumed it was the incorrect runner preventing any further movement but this is now not the case. I've looked down inside the door and can see nothing hitting or sticking.Any thoughts?
Paudman Posted July 26, 2010 Author Posted July 26, 2010 I hate this car. Have I said that already?Turns out the window winder is also passenger side, so works upside down in the driver's side and strikes the bottom of the door instead of going up into the door as the window drops.Driver's side winder mechanism now required. Two steps forward, three back, as usual.I hate this car.
