Door handle

How much of a door do I have to take apart to remove an external Herald door handle? The retaining clip around the push button on Alisons Estate has come adrift and I need to re-MOT it for sale.

Does the door glass have to come out  :(

I'm more familiar with the earlier Heralds (separate push button assembly), but I'm pretty sure everything you need to access can be gotten to by removing only the inner handles and door card. The glass can stay.

Richard, it can be done without any major strip down. From memory wind the window up, remove the handles and door card, and you should be able to see and undo the screw.
