Door lock

Can any offer advice ?
The door lock has come loose in the handle of my 13/60. How is it held in place, should I look for a complete handle or just a new lock at Stafford this weekend.
Also will there be anybody offering services like oiling Trunions and fitting electronic ignition ( I have had a set sitting in the garage for the last few years, its about time they were used ! )

Definately a trunnion oiler (Adam, good bloke) and he may fit leccy ignition too. If not there are usually some tuning vans around who should do the job.

I fitted my own Pertronics electoronic ignition, it really is a doddle. I'm going to Stafford tomorrow (Saturday) so if you want me give a bit of advise and show how mine is fitted give me a bell on Satirday on 07790 490598

Re your door lock, there is a screw which holds the barrel assembly together and it may simply have worked loose.

It has been loose for some time and I have been meaning to fix it ,I just didn't know how it goes together. You are right about the screw, when I got back from Stafford the lock fell on the drive and I can now see how its held in place. Hopefully the screw will be in the door panel, I got the trunions oiled but did not get the Lumenition ignition fitted, I will try a local garage
