BODSGT6 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Hi guys, Ive just got a new heritage front valance for a mk1 gt6, The fit is absolutely rubbish. Its been so long since the old one came off im not sure on the correct fitting as i have no brackets left to attach it. Dont suppose anyone has got any pics of the fixing areas that they could post. Has any body a really nice fitting valance that i could see pictures of. Thanks all . :)
GT6Craig Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 i have some good pictures of a BAD fitting valance!?Funnily enough i took it off yesterday in order to adjust it, ill try and get some photos - meanwhile does this help?http://www.canleyclassics.com/catalog.asp?category=200208032125413385780837I found that by padding out with some large diameter washers the hole at the end of the valance - it seems to fit a little better - but ill also appreciate somebodies photos, as it still doesnt look spot on...

FloydP Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 And another, just noticed looking at Roys picture his brackets sit under the top of the chassis cross piece whilst mine sits on top of it. I think my valance sits a bit closer than his because of this.
