blueH Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 Hi, I have spoken to Honeybourne, good news is they can supply just the passenger sidebut it is going to take them around 4 weeks to manufacture, would like to get the car ready forMOT & use and so is there any chance some kind Forum reader might have a spare one lurking in their garage. Matt306 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 figured they would, when i visited they seemed pleasant and my dealings i found them very honest.I cannt help with a spare though, trying to get mine MOT tested Quote
oldmetalhead82 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Would it not m.o.t without it as its not stuctural ? Quote
Matt306 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I'm not putting sills on mine for Mot nor will there be a roof! Think this is Ok mine is a convertible Quote
Steve AKA vitessesteve Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I ran my Vitesse without sill covers for years and had no trouble getting an MOT. The lower valances at the back are not structural however you wouldbe left with a potentially dangerous edge? Quote

Think this is Ok mine is a convertible Apologies to the OP for hijacking the thread - well, slightly, because if his Herald is tested without a rear valence fitted you may have sharp edges on the centre valence or rear overrider exposed, which could be construed as a danger to pedestrians… you never know!! - however: I’ll probably get my 1200 convertible tested with no hood fitted, as I can then drive it to someone who will fit it properly. This shouldn’t affect the test at all. Quote
