Earthing strap on Vitesse

Hi, There are two earthing straps attached to the steering rack on my resto project Vitesse. The thin one, on the driver's side is easy to sort out, but can anyone tell me if there's a specific point at which you attach the thicker strap on the passenger's side?

It attaches under one of the nuts that holds the steering rack clamp and links back to the engine block.
