Zendervision
So my new engine runs beautifully, however it appears I messed up the head gasket, because my oil's gone creamy and there was white fog from the exhaust.Happy that the head is okay (checked using straight edge & feeler gauge, also by putting it on the block without gasket and checking for gaps) so I'm going to try again with a new gasket and different torque wrench.I bought a Payen gasket this time instead of the cheaper one, but it's not the same on both sides. Which side should be facing upwards?

Zendervision
Ah right, so the embossed part number (side 1) faces upwards and the side with the metal bits between cylinders faces the block. Thanks, didn't want to have to do this again!
