Jordon T Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Hi Guys,My Vitesse 2 litre Mk1 seems to have a vented rocker cover cap (with the wire gauze - Vitesse 6, Herald 1200 etc...), but it also has a Lucas PCV valve as fitted to later cars connected from the cover to the inlet manifold. I have noticed that with the engine running there seems to be a hiss coming from the filler cap. If I block the filler hole off with my hand, the engines idles differently.Is this cover the right one for my car or is it a home made jobby carried out by one of the previous owners?Thanks :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
