compression ratio thoughts.

Take 2.

Just finished the complete rebuild (second time around) 2000 MK1 engine.

All looking good. Mods this time include changing the seven middle head studs with MKII studs and a complete head rebuild all flowed and matched.

Comp ratio is 10.85:1... a little higher than the 10:1 recommended.

Any thoughts?

I am using a distributor with a custom curve (curve attached) and a TR5 type cam.

150 strombergs/ inlet manifold with restrictions removed.

Firing it up tomorrow!

Cheers
