dazzer
Take 2.Just finished the complete rebuild (second time around) 2000 MK1 engine. All looking good. Mods this time include changing the seven middle head studs with MKII studs and a complete head rebuild all flowed and matched.Comp ratio is 10.85:1... a little higher than the 10:1 recommended.Any thoughts?I am using a distributor with a custom curve (curve attached) and a TR5 type cam. 150 strombergs/ inlet manifold with restrictions removed.Firing it up tomorrow!Cheersdarren
James
As the TR5 cam is a bit more racey your DCR should work out a bit less than the scary 10.85 might suggest.
esxefi
yep, dynamic is always less, plus lower ve with the 1.5 stroms, lets guess compression test at 150-60psi? :)
