Richard B
Anybody got a quick short cut for doing this? I might have to wait till tomorrow to buy a left hand thread 5/16th bolt (or Die) so that I can make an adapter for my slide hammer. Just that I wanted to have the block ready to go to the machine shop in the morning.
wakaday
You could always try a big washer under the bolt and then gently try to lever it up with a pair of big screwdrivers under the washer. It has worked for me many times in the past.Just be careful not to damage the mating face of the block and wear gloves, dust mask and eye protection (for both eyes) just incase anyone from the HSE gets involved
