wakaday
I've just collected another Stag for spares. Its got a very interesting engine. Someone has gone over the top with the cooling system. It has an external water pump fitted to the Left hand head and the original pump has been blanked off. The front timing cover has 2 water pipes coming from it that have been fitted in between the chains and fitted directly into the water jacket. Both cylinder heads have water outlets fitted in place of the centre core plugs between the inlet tracts. This has been done very well with a hell of a lot of thought and engineering skills. Its all water and oil tight. I know people worry about overheating but this is surely taking it to far.

andy thompson
Looks like the work of Mad Jack McMad, the mad plumber on day release from the looney bin ...........Wonder if it was any better than the original (which seems to work just fine if it's watertight)
anthropoidape
Wow. That is really a lot of work for what you would have to assume is really not much benefit.

wakaday
I agree. Why. They probably would have been better going down the Rover Route or a straight six or just building the Engine properly.
