MK3
Standard MK3 Spitfire due a new set of Spark Plugs. Paddocks have 3 offerings for the MK3 1300 engine : NGK Dual Copper RN9Y, Motorcraft Autolite RN9YT triple electrode and a Champion N9YCI would normally go with the old fashioned N9YC but has anyone tried the triple electrode or the NGK and thinks its a better plug ? Clive
NGK BP5es or BP6es for me....Not had an issue with any in the last 22 years. Champion used to cause a few issues, but things may have changed.

mjwman
DO NOT buy any plug with an R in it. These are resistor plugs and our systems are not up to it nor are they needed..NGK BP5ES or BP6ES are ideal.

Clive
Agreed colin, get 5's, though I am none to sure just a change of plugs will solve that particular issue!
thescrapman
Think I already have 5's... :-(
