Darren Sharp
Do you remember when you could re shoe your Classic for £15 a corner with these…… Thank god we’ve moved on a bit lol
Rosbif
Just seeing the word on a tyre brings me out in a cold sweat 🥶 I remember remoulds being available everywhere
Topic63
Part worn are the next thing they need to outlaw, a friend of mine always buys them but there’s no convincing some 🤷♂️🤷♂️😆😆
yorkshire_spam
I ran my old land rover on remolds for years, it was all I could afford and it wasn't exactly a high performance vehicle. There's been times in the past that I wouldn't have been able to get to work without buying a part worn because a tyre went in a month where money was tight. But given the choice... I'd never buy either again.
ferny
Lorries seem to do OK with them and one of the best competition tyres are all remoulds.
thescrapman
I am sure I have a set of Sterlings some where. Perhaps need to dig them out for period fitment.
Dannyb
Had remolds on an HA Viva 45 years ago. Until I had this terrible banging from the rear on the motorway. The tread was coming away from the tyre. Never again. Danny

I had that happen on my PI. They were NOT remoulds.
Hogie
Very many aircraft tyres are remoulds. If worked on correctly they are very good - but!!!! Roger
Wendy Dawes
As the embarrassed owner of the above , I can honestly say that my worst recollection of Xply tyres was aquaplaning in my first Herald 1200 when I was just 20 years old , not a nice experience
