Ben Hutchings
I'm looking for a second hand family car. I've been eyeing up Yeti's for a while. I've owned a Skoda in the past and was happy with it. I tend towards VAG cars for one reason or another. So... care to give me any Pros/Cons regarding the Yeti? I already think it sits too high, and it's not the prettiest. I can live with those two things. Thanks!
Nick Jones
I know a couple of people who have them…. And they like them. Pretty much the same as VWTiguan / Seat Ateca / Audi Q5. Some versions of the 2L TDI had self-destruct tendencies related to balance shaft and oil pump drive. I’m not sure whether any of the affected versions were ever used in the Yeti. Rosbif
I've got one, but then I'm a dinosaur 😁 Had a Roomster for 10 years before the Yeti. Does what it says on the box. Bought mine for the load capacity, back seats come out easily, the fact that it is tall so getting in and out is ok for my back. I'm not a high mileage user so can't say about long term reliability but as most of it is WAG stuff it should be as reliable or not as other cars based on the same platform.
