elementary
I am trying to fit an accelerator cable to my Triumph Herald Estate car. During the restoration of my car there was not an accelerator cable fitted. Now I am ready to move the vehicle I am in the process of trying to fit the cable. I have attached one end to the pedal, I do not know where or how the other end is fitted to the carburettor. Any help would be appreciated, is there a diagram available?

RobPearce
Which engine? The Canley diagram above was for a 13/60, where the cable is fitted "backwards" - the outer on the throttle lever and the inner to the fixed point. The photo is of a downdraught so presumably a 1200.
