ferny
BBC News - Sir Frank Williams: Formula 1 team founder dies aged 79 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/59453378 Growing up, I can't say I liked him. But hearing others talk about recently has made me view him in a different way. Take a look from 5 minutes on in this video with Jason Plato and Jonny as an example. https://youtu.be/sTYHy4Pnb18 Motorsport in the UK would have been very different without him.
richard w
Sad to hear the news. Williams were pretty much unbeatable in the mid 90's - which was the era I remember best. Great team back then. Thanks for posting the YouTube link Peter, very entertaining!
Gus
I was extremely fortunate to work for this wonderful man for six years between 2001 and 2007. He was a fabulous boss, who made it his priority to know everyone's Christian name and a bit about all their families. At that time there was over 500 people employed at the factory! Once you worked for him, you became part of his extended family. A very sad loss.
