Looking for AAY617T Inca Yellow 1978 Spitfire 1500

Hi, I’ve just joined the group and not sure if it's the right place to post this but hope someone can help me.

 

I am trying to locate the current owner of a 1978 Spitfire 1500 in Inca yellow, registration AAY 617T, which I previously owned in the 1980’s and have many happy memories of.

 

Recently, with some time to spare, I Googled the registration number and was surprised to see that it had been in an auction in 2014. Then I checked on DVLA and even more surprised to see that it is currently taxed.

 

I would really like to contact whoever is now looking after this fine old beauty, maybe with a view to meeting or just exchanging photos which I can dig out from my collection.

Would be great to hear from anyone who knows, or has any suggestions on locating and contacting the owner.

A good a place to start as any!  It's not one familiar to me i'm afraid, looks hopeful that it may still exist though.

Try some of the other club forums or Triumph pages on social media.
