I am trying to locate the current owner of a 1978 Spitfire 1500 in Inca yellow, registration AAY 617T, which I previously owned in the 1980’s and have many happy memories of. Recently, with some time to spare, I Googled the registration number and was surprised to see that it had been in an auction in 2014. Then I checked on DVLA and even more surprised to see that it is currently taxed. I would really like to contact whoever is now looking after this fine old beauty, maybe with a view to meeting or just exchanging photos which I can dig out from my collection. Would be great to hear from anyone who knows, or has any suggestions on locating and contacting the owner.
