DPMR Opening Tuesday 1st March

Recommended Posts

Entry to the Derek Pollock Memorial 12 Car Navigational Rally (DPMR) will open on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at 19:00.

For further details about the event, please visit

https://www.clubtriumph.co.uk/dpmr

This will only be open to Club Members for the first week, after which it will open to "invited clubs". If you are intending to enter, it would be wise to do so early.

If you are new to this type of event, there is a Beginner class (as well as Novice and Expert)

And a reminder, you will need a MSUK Clubmans licence (or higher) to enter. The Clubmans Licence is free, and you can get one here:

Looking at the entry list it would appear that non Triumph cars and possibly non CT members have entered already?

There were two people who were granted entry at the same time as CT members. Nigel and I wanted to extend them the same courtesy which they have always extended to all CT members for the last twelve years or more at Bedford CC, especially now that Beds CC is no longer an active MsUK affiliated club. That seemed only fair and the least we could do just on this one occasion.

Clive, does the navigator need a clubman's licence as well or just the driver?

Yep, all competitors including nav. (not us, it is MSUK regs)

It really is very quck and easy to do. Snap a screenshot or whatever on your phone, they no longer send physical licences (that must have cost them a fortune)

So it would appear the above statement in the advert for the event wasn't the case then?

I will PM you
