West Mids group are planning to travel to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire for a 10am arrival . Park a car full for a fiver, have a Picnic and chat with friends or visit the House or Gardens . Wendy Dawes Posted March 20, 2022 Share Posted March 20, 2022 (edited) If anyone would like to join us at West mids group drive it day on 24th April, we are meeting on Marquis Drive, Cannock Chase postcode WS12 4PW at 8.30 am and heading off at 8.45 am for a picturesque drive to Chatsworth House through the pretty villages of Staffordshire including Abbots Bromley home of the ancient medieval dance of the horns, on through Doveridge and into Derbyshire finishing up at Chatsworth house in the lovely village of Bakewell ( you might even pick up a tart) at around 10.00/10.30 am You can plan your day via the Chatsworth house website where entry costs and pre booked tickets can be purchased or just pay a fiver to park and picnic.
