danboyts
Does anyone know the exact placement and length of the A post seals in the door aperture or could someone show me a picture of the original placement on their vehicle? My original seals are two different lengths and are placed differently. One stops at the door bend under the windscreen post and the other goes down a couple of inches below the bend. Rimmer's diagram shows about 4-5 inches length below the last bend which would take it close to the door checkstrap. Also, does it stay behind the furflex all the way down, or does it adhere further to the outside of the door as it goes below the windscreen towards the overhead light button? Thank you in advance Dan
danboyts
Issue resolved. The A post seal runs along windscreen above wing vent then underneath the drip gutter to outside of door aperture sealing against inside of exterior door panel. Thanks to all who took a look
Dave Clasper
That's useful, thanks. This is the P seal that is glued on? This would be for my Vitesse, though maybe simular principle?. My current ones (that are unstuck and flapping about) only go down as far as the the top hinge (from memory?). Better if they go down to the bottom of the door aperture?. Thanks, Dave
