GT6Craig
Is a GT6 mk1 supposed to have one of these? If so what is its purpose and where might it be located? I have two wires coming from the dizzy, one goes to the neg and the other to the positive.....am i missing something here...?thanks!
GreenV8Machine
dont think it does, ballast resistors are usually attached to the block next to the coil. they knock the voltage down to 6V for a 6V coil.2 wires from dizzy neg and pos, that'll be your condesor/points, or electronic ign. cook1e
Acording to the woring diagram for a MK1 in the Genuine Triumph workshop manual I can confirm that the MK1 does not have a ballast resistor.
