Adrianb
Hi all this is the day 15th of May 2020 when we found and bought this lovely 13/60 which had been sitting there since 1995 it’s now completely stripped and on it’s way back to being a thing of joy! admittedly there’s still a lot of rusty stuff to sort but what else would you do in lockdowns

Adrianb
I’m enjoying every moment, especially when The sun comes out and I can lean back in my chair feet up on the chassis and a nice cup of tea! and pondering over which front floor pan to do first! Adrianb
So nearly a year on and I face a dilemma! Am I actually restoring this 13/60 or am I creating a vehicle that resembles a 13/60 and at what point do I say it’s a restoration or a reincarnation! The fact is the front floor pans had rotted away the rear floor pans also rotted away! Basically the bulk head and windscreen was rotted away!So in terms of the original car the best bits left are the bonnet the boot lid the seats and chassis and an untried engine! The only thing for sure it will end up a Triumph 13/60 convertible rebuilt by a sight challenged chap with nothing better to do!

I managed to retain the chassis and bulkhead... and the steering rack.

Tim Hunt
Judging by the extent of the corrosion am I right in thinking this car spent a considerable time in moist salty air by the seaside? Tim
Adrianb
The car was left in a garden paddock at the foot of the South Downs outside since 1995 ! It took some shifting to get it on to at trailer and some to get get get it into my place!
