WIMPUS
Hi, I've got a carb balancer of Gunson, but it doesn't work that great :/ Seen another one, but don't know if it works good :/ Something like this one (don't know if the nozzle fits for hs4's .. ) http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/Dellorto-Weber-synchrometer-carb-balancer-tool-made-in-Germany-not-China-/290682796527?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43ae0b79ef&_uhb=1Anyone an idea ? :)
nang
What problems are you having with the Gunson one ?Tony.
Davemate
I use a gunson one and it works fine, the one your looking at is much better but the gunson one should be fine !
bxbodger
The gunson one works fine, but the orifice adjuster is very finicky- I would persevere with it for a while....for years I thought I could do a good enough job by ear until I bought one, learned to use it, and found out how far out the human ear can be! piman
Hello Wim, the balancer you link to is rather large for HS4 S.U.s (unless you have ram pipes fitted), OK for HS6. Here's a couple of alternatives:- http://www.holden.co.uk/displayproduct.asp?pCode=090.696Alec
Greeks
I have this one: http://www.holden.co.uk/displayproduct.asp?pCode=090.043(Edelbrock brand name) It works fine, (except a lumpy cam means the idle is not that consistent so the floating ball moves a bit). However, it only fits to one carb at a time. I would try to find one that does both together - like this: http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-custom-motorcycle-tools-twin-carburetor-vacuum-gauge-sync-kit-84-68592.htmlOr get fancy with this: http://www.twinmax.co.uk/Or make your own - there's lots of DIY tutorials. piman
Hello VR, as long as you get the right size, that linked one is too big.Alec
